Here's how our design services
and installation services
work…
Consultation - We'll work
with you to understand your
needs, how your sign will
be used and what you want
to achieve with it. This
may take place in our shop
or at your location, if we
need to take measurements,
etc. We'll also collect any
artwork you have - whether
it's just your logo or you've
got full and complete artwork
for your sign, we'll accommodate
you!
Sketch - (If
Sylvan Signs is creating
artwork for the project) Based on the initial
consultation, we'll sketch
out some ideas.
Permits - We'll work with
you and the city to ensure
you've got the appropriate
permits for your sign, if
necessary.
Graphic Design - (If
Sylvan Signs is creating
artwork for the project) With your
approval on our sketches,
we'll work up a preliminary
design using our graphics
tools.
Proofing & Modifications
- We'll then make any edits
or changes that you request
and present those to you,
in the form of a proof, for
your review, modifications
and approval.
Production - Again with
your approval, we'll go to
final art and into the production
stage where your sign gets
fabricated.
Installation - We'll come
to your location and install
your sign.
This all sounds time consuming,
but it actually can move
pretty quickly. Every project
is different, but we'll always
give you a solid estimate
for the project timeline
and work very hard to comply
with that.
